Inspired by the rich history of the Adelaide GPO, this installation celebrates the original Overland Telegraph Line’s connection across Australia. Using copper pipes, their refined forms create a shimmering effect, symbolising the contours and waves across the landscape.

The concept development and vision for the artwork were shaped significantly through collaboration with Warren Pickering, a fellow artist who brought a unique perspective to the project.

The creation process was highly collaborative, with Exhibition Studios playing a crucial role in refining the concept, detail design, including expertise in the technical fabrication and installation stages of the work.

The collaboration with Warren Pickering added a rich layer of depth to the project. Warren’s insights and ideas helped shape the narrative, making it a truly shared vision and personal reflections on the passage of time and the evolution of communication.
